Baby Owl
Here is a picture of the baby owl that fell out of a tree into my backyard. Can you help me to find out about this owl? What kind of owl is it? What does it eat? How can I mend its broken wing?
We have done some quick research and believe your owl is a Powerful Owl. We believe this because the owl's wing and back colouration and the shape of the owl are very similar to the Powerful Owl. We do recognise that the owls face is still developing so it is hard to say.
Thanks e3. I'm impressed that you were able to find that out. I have let the owl go a couple of nights ago. The wing was much better and I didn't want it to become too dependent on us. Can you put a picture of a Powerful Owl on your class blog? Can you find these in West Java?
